Ternary five-vertex arachno-type cobalt-tin-chalcogene clusters are accessible by means of insertion of the chalcogen elements S and Se into the unbridged Co−Sn bond of the stannanediyl cobalt complexes [(η5-CpR)Co−Sn{CH(SiMe3)2}2] (1-3). They display a rich spectroelectrochemistry. CV and EPR measurements reveal that the relevant HOMO orbitals are strongly transition metal centered.

Abstract
Ternary five-vertex arachno-type cobalt-tin-chalcogene clusters are accessible by means of insertion of the chalcogen elements S and Se into the unbridged Co−Sn bond of the stannanediyl cobalt complexes [(η5-CpR)Co−Sn{CH(SiMe3)2}2] (1-3). They display a rich spectroelectrochemistry. CV and EPR measurements reveal that the relevant HOMO orbitals are strongly transition metal centered.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
