The ideal timing and modality of fracture fixation for unstable thoracolumbar in multiply injured patients remains controversial. The concept of "damage control orthopedics" is expressed. We presented the case of a 27-years old man who sustained multilevel spine fractures associated with a floating knee, ulna fracture, and carpal scaphoid fracture after a car accident. All theese fractures were treated in early total care. We discuss early total spinal care combinaned to orthopedic total care in patients with multiple trauma.

Abstract
The ideal timing and modality of fracture fixation for unstable thoracolumbar in multiply injured patients remains controversial. The concept of "damage control orthopedics" is expressed. We presented the case of a 27-years old man who sustained multilevel spine fractures associated with a floating knee, ulna fracture, and carpal scaphoid fracture after a car accident. All theese fractures were treated in early total care. We discuss early total spinal care combinaned to orthopedic total care in patients with multiple trauma.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
