Cerebral glyco-conjugates (soluble and insoluble glycoproteins, soluble and insoluble mucopolysaccharides, gangliosides) have been studied in a biopsy specimen from a patient afflicted with Unverricht-Lundborg's myoclonus epilepsy. A decrease in glycoproteins and gangliosides and an increase in mucopolysaccharides were found. These findings have been discussed in the light of previously reported histological, histochemical and ultrastructural data obtained with the same biopsy material.
