The possibility of using Near Infrared Reflectance Spectroscopy (NIRS) for the qualitative and quantitative analysis of several primary materials was investigated. The results were good for the identification of the different samples. The determination of active principle in streptomycin sulfate and cloxacillin benzathine also gave satisfactory results.
