Measurement of paramagnetic nuclear relaxation rates provides information on the dynamic behavior of ternary complexes of Mn(II) with 5′-ATP and amino acids such as histidine, tryptophane, and phenylalanine. The pH and concentration dependence of the relaxation times are strongly dependent on the experimental conditions of measurement. Histidine has a greater tendency to form ternary complexes than does imidazole. Paramagnetic relaxation probes are also useful in the evaluation of ternary complexes in related systems. © 1979.

Abstract
Measurement of paramagnetic nuclear relaxation rates provides information on the dynamic behavior of ternary complexes of Mn(II) with 5′-ATP and amino acids such as histidine, tryptophane, and phenylalanine. The pH and concentration dependence of the relaxation times are strongly dependent on the experimental conditions of measurement. Histidine has a greater tendency to form ternary complexes than does imidazole. Paramagnetic relaxation probes are also useful in the evaluation of ternary complexes in related systems. © 1979.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
