The Mt. Gottero unit, Northern Apennines, belongs to the Ligurid units s.l. and is tectonically situated below the Mt Antola unit and above the Braco/Val Graveglia, Colli/Tavarone and Helminthoid flysch units. This unit displays a very complex structural pattern due to the superimposition of several deformational phases. The presence of wide areas where the Mt. Gottero unit is characterized by structural directions oblique to the regional trend constitutes a matter of debate. A structrural analysis of the Mt. Zatta-Mt. Ghiffi area (Ligurian-Emilian Apennine) which is representative of the existing structural problems of the Mt. Gottero unit, is presented here.

Abstract
Gottero unit, is presented here.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
