Abstract

PAH are known to be important xenobiotic pollutants. The study of their oxidation reaction in simple systems, such as the hemoprotein-H2O2, may permit the development of new methods of biodegradation. An understanding of the reaction mechanisms involved can lead to models for synthesis of new catalyzers.
