This collection of essays explores the uses of a new notion of dynamic structure and the related redefinition of structural change in a dynamic framework where distinction is not made between adjustment (i.e. disequilibrium) and structural dynamics. The former notion is constructed upon the idea of a production sector, which is typical of input/output analysis and national accounting practice. At any given date, a (dynamic) structure is represented by the distribution of sectoral growth paths in a space that is endowed with a partition in regimes and for this reason it is called the Framework Space.

Abstract
This collection of essays explores the uses of a new notion of dynamic structure and the related redefinition of structural change in a dynamic framework where distinction is not made between adjustment (i.e. disequilibrium) and structural dynamics. The former notion is constructed upon the idea of a production sector, which is typical of input/output analysis and national accounting practice. At any given date, a (dynamic) structure is represented by the distribution of sectoral growth paths in a space that is endowed with a partition in regimes and for this reason it is called the Framework Space.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
