A case of papillomatosis cutis carcinoides in a 74-year old man is reported. The development of the lesion on a burn scar of the right leg was histologically distinguished by distinct papillomatosis with normal epithelial hyperplasia. Because conservative surgical treatment was followed by relapse, the leg was amputated.
