A tumor consisting of different sized nodules on the face and neck, which did not involve any other organs, in a 95 year old female suffering from chronic lymphocytic leukaemia is described. Non-malignant perivascular epitheloid cells were seen as light and electron microscope studies, but no specific ultrastructural alterations were observed. The tumour was classified, with due reserve, as an atypical multiple glomus tumour with probably manifest atypical behaviour owing to the concurrent lymphocytic leukaemia.

Abstract
A tumor consisting of different sized nodules on the face and neck, which did not involve any other organs, in a 95 year old female suffering from chronic lymphocytic leukaemia is described. Non-malignant perivascular epitheloid cells were seen as light and electron microscope studies, but no specific ultrastructural alterations were observed. The tumour was classified, with due reserve, as an atypical multiple glomus tumour with probably manifest atypical behaviour owing to the concurrent lymphocytic leukaemia.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
