A photometric BVR study of Nova Trianguli Australis 2008 was performed with a Skylive remote telescope, Australia. After a first decreasing of 1 magnitude, an outburst happened, reaching a maximum mV = 8.39 +/- 0.05, 13.712 April 2008. Afterwards, a slow decreasing, short small increasing and long plateaus were observed. Five months after the initial outburst the star reached mV = 12.36 +/- 0.05, 11.597 September 2008, revealing itself as a slow nova.

Abstract

A photometric BVR study of Nova Trianguli Australis 2008 was performed with a Skylive remote telescope, Australia. After a first decreasing of 1 magnitude, an outburst happened, reaching a maximum mV = 8.39 +/- 0.05, 13.712 April 2008. Afterwards, a slow decreasing, short small increasing and long plateaus were observed. Five months after the initial outburst the star reached mV = 12.36 +/- 0.05, 11.597 September 2008, revealing itself as a slow nova.
