New toluidine derivatives are described. Some of them showed interesting activity against Mycobacteria. They led to an optimization of the pharmacophore model previously described by us. The best-fitted conformer of one of the most active compounds (6a) shows all the chemical groups matched to the chemical features of the model.

Abstract
New toluidine derivatives are described. Some of them showed interesting activity against Mycobacteria. They led to an optimization of the pharmacophore model previously described by us. The best-fitted conformer of one of the most active compounds (6a) shows all the chemical groups matched to the chemical features of the model.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
