Pharmaceutical vial cleaning is one of the fundamental steps to achieve a good final product. The cleaning procedures of these containers are needed as they reach the firm from outside manufacturers. Neither rules nor specific scientific studies are available on the subject. Thus, we have planned to do some investigations on the washing and/or blowing machine efficiency. The results we obtained are promising for the optimization of the cleaning procedure efficiency with respect to the various designing and operational parameters adopted.
