Sexual dysfunctions (DS) are often underestimated, not diagnosed and not treated even if their prevalence in the general population is expected to be high, affecting 43% of women and 31% of men. We proposed to emphasize the high incidence of sexual dysfunctions and vaginismus in the context of the psychiatric population, given their significant impact on the quality of life, on interpersonal relationships and the overall operation of the individual.

Abstract
Sexual dysfunctions (DS) are often underestimated, not diagnosed and not treated even if their prevalence in the general population is expected to be high, affecting 43% of women and 31% of men. We proposed to emphasize the high incidence of sexual dysfunctions and vaginismus in the context of the psychiatric population, given their significant impact on the quality of life, on interpersonal relationships and the overall operation of the individual.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
