This is a study that begins with The Last Scream. A Morality Play, written in the Nineties by Ingmar Bergman himself, which seeks to identify and establish the ways in which his cinematography relates to that of the national Swedish tradition. Bergman's reappraisal of the figure of Georg af Klercker in the theatrical script is viewed as the proclamation of a bond that up till now had been cast in a completely different light, namely in terms of Bergman's known connection to Sjöström.

Abstract
This is a study that begins with The Last Scream. A Morality Play, written in the Nineties by Ingmar Bergman himself, which seeks to identify and establish the ways in which his cinematography relates to that of the national Swedish tradition. Bergman's reappraisal of the figure of Georg af Klercker in the theatrical script is viewed as the proclamation of a bond that up till now had been cast in a completely different light, namely in terms of Bergman's known connection to Sjöström.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
