A three-dimensional geological model has been realized based on field survey data in the west area of the Alpi Apuane for applications in preliminary tunnelling studies. Model built can be used to automatically create sub-horizontal geological cross sections at tunnel level and vertical cross-sections in order to calculate the segments lengths of every geological formation along the tunnel.
