GLI ESTRATTI DI RIDWAN DAL COMMENTO DI GALENO AGLI UMORI DI IPPOCRAT

This paper contains the edition (with Italian translation and an Arabo(-Greek) Glossary) of ‘Al¤ ibn Ri™w¢n’s excerpts from the lost Galenic Commentary on Hippocrates’ Humours in Arabic version. Though much of these materials are also transmitted in similar form by R¢z¤ and Maimonides, most of them is new. Moreover, the excerpts follow the order of the Galenic original, so helping with ordering the excerpts offered by other sources, in which only the number of the book (or no indication at all) of the Galenic Commentary is given.
