Legal guardianship between public and private. ABSTRACT: In the field of the legal guardianship, the Italian “amministrazione di sostegno” could be examined considering the role of Third sector entities. The principles of solidarity and subsidiarity help to emphasize the features of private and public dimension and, in this context, the protection of weak people through a legal entity (e.g. a voluntary or a philanthropic organisation) could represent an institutional model of reaction compliant with national regulation.
