Tra storia e storiografia. Donne e Resistenza in Umbria

Eighty years after Italy’s liberation from Nazi-Fascism, historiography has been affected by renewed reflections. Amidst memory, narrative, and celebration, the Resistance has become the subject of new attention, and among these, gender studies have not been absent. The wealth of research available today makes it possible to fill gaps in the narrative, enrich the nuances of widespread female participation, and suggest thematic insights. The analysis proposed aim to retrace the advances made in five decades of local and national debate and then move on to women’s stories in order to highlight different activisms in the North of Umbria.

A ottant’anni dalla Liberazione dal nazifascismo la storiografia è stata interessata da rinnovate riflessioni. Tra memoria, racconto e celebrazione, la Resistenza si è attestata oggetto di nuovi sguardi e, tra questi, gli studi di genere non hanno mancato l’appuntamento. L’abbondanza di ricerche oggi a disposizione permette di colmare lacune nella narrazione, arricchire di sfumature una partecipazione femminile ampia e capillare, di suggerire approfondimenti tematici. Le analisi proposte intendono ripercorrere gli avanzamenti registrati in cinque decenni di dibattito, locale e nazionale, per poi muoversi tra storie di donne al fine di mettere in luce diversi protagonismi in Alta Umbria.
