In total, 17 species of Ichneumonidae (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonoidea) in the subfamilies Acaenitinae, Anomaloninae, Banchinae, Campopleginae, Ctenopelmatinae, Ichneumoninae, Metopiinae, Orthocentrinae and Tryphoninae are recorded from Iran or Syria for the first time. In total, 13 species are new records for the fauna of the Middle East.
