This paper is going to provide a picture of the Academic Libraries organization, based on the analysis of the University Statutes and web documentation. The aim is to verify the effectiveness of recommendations made by the National bodies (GLSB, CRUI) to define Library organizations as consistent and well organized pools of structures, with a good level of know-how, able to fulfill all the new requirements of users and to ensure an adeguate level of partnership among Libraries themselves. The research has been done in 2010, comparing the results of a National survey distributed to all the University Libraries in 2009. The results and the final considerations seem to be interesting as Libraries are re-thinking their organization on the basis of National law requirements.

Abstract
This paper is going to provide a picture of the Academic Libraries organization, based on the analysis of the University Statutes and web documentation. The aim is to verify the effectiveness of recommendations made by the National bodies (GLSB, CRUI) to define Library organizations as consistent and well organized pools of structures, with a good level of know-how, able to fulfill all the new requirements of users and to ensure an adeguate level of partnership among Libraries themselves. The research has been done in 2010, comparing the results of a National survey distributed to all the University Libraries in 2009. The results and the final considerations seem to be interesting as Libraries are re-thinking their organization on the basis of National law requirements.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
