Proprietà, immagini e visibilità tra filosofia del diritto e scienza cognitiva

Ownership, images and visibility between philosophy of law and cognitive science. Abstract: The main aim of this paper is to offer an elucidation of the relations that the concept of ownership has with a specific notion of image and a specific notion of visibility. To achieve this goal, at first, the relation between mental images and ownership conceived as a right will be taken into consideration, and a possible connection between this relation and the topic of the visibility of ownership so conceived will be shown. The analysis will then extend to non-mental images and to other ways of conceiving ownership. Finally, it will be shown how the analysis offered is able to account for certain elements that mark two important attempts to study the cognitive dimensions of ownership.
