Silica 60 HPTLC concentration zone plates were successfully used for the qualitative and quantitative determination of a semi-synthetic form of rifamycin, Rifaximine, alone and with its oxidation products in cream. The method also gave satisfactory detection limits (0.52-mu-g/ml) for antibiotic residues in milk after the cream had been used to treat mastitis in cows.

Abstract
Silica 60 HPTLC concentration zone plates were successfully used for the qualitative and quantitative determination of a semi-synthetic form of rifamycin, Rifaximine, alone and with its oxidation products in cream. The method also gave satisfactory detection limits (0.52-mu-g/ml) for antibiotic residues in milk after the cream had been used to treat mastitis in cows.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
