The case reports multiple helmintiasis and chronic hepatitis caused by hepatitis B virus (HBV)/hepatitis D virus (HDV) in an immunocompetent immigrant male. It highlights the importance of early diagnosis and treatment of neglected infectious diseases in low endemic eas, besides difficulties that Western countries encounter in responding to immigrants’ health needs.
