Bioinformatics is an interdisciplinary field that develops methods and software tools for understanding biological data, in particular when the data sets are large and complex. As an interdisciplinary field of science, bioinformatics combines biology, computer science, information engineering, mathematics and statistics to analyze and interpret the biological data. Bioinformatics has been used for in silico analyzes of biological queries using mathematical and statistical techniques. During the three years of doctorate we focused about Structural Bioinformatics and in particular in studies that allow the research of potential inhibitors and allosteric modulators, both against soluble and membrane proteins , related in particular with cancer and infectious deseases. All the projects were automated thanks to Python and Bash programming languages. The main operative system was Linux. The projects results are very promising and the some of those are still in progress

Abstract
