Near Infrared Reflectance Spectroscopy (NIRS) was used for the qualitative and quantitative control of several cephalosporin derivatives. All the samples tested were unequivocally identified. The active principles and water content of acid Cephalexin and sodium Cefuroxime were also appropriately quantified.
