Verso un capitalismo inclusivo?

On August 19, 2019, the Business Roundtable, an organization that brings together about 200 CEOs of the largest American companies, took a position concerning the goals that these companies must pursue. The short essay reconstructs the purposes of the companies, even from a historical point of view, between the interests of the shareholders to maximize the profit and the different (and divergent) interests on the part of other stakeholders.

Il 19 agosto 2019 la Business Roundtable, un’organizzazione che riunisce circa 200 amministratori delegati delle più grandi imprese americane, ha preso una posizione sulle finalità che le suddette imprese devono perseguire. Il breve saggio ricostruisce, anche da un punto di vista storico, i fini delle società, tra interessi degli azionisti a massimizzare il profitto e interessi diversi (e divergenti) da parte degli altri stakeholders
