The author takes a clear view against the “paleographic” hypothesis expressed by Lucia Lazzerini some time ago, which has also been ruled out with support of a short paleographic note by Caterina Tristano, and keeps defending – with new points – the hypothesis formulated by Arrigo Castellani at the time

Il contributo riassume, senza eccessivo ingombro di notizie e bibliografia, la mole di interventi che nel tempo si sono susseguiti sull’Indovinello veronese, dai più remoti ai più recenti. L’autore prende una posizione netta contro l’ipotesi “paleografica” formulata qualche tempo fa da Lucia Lazzerini, scartata anche con il supporto di una breve nota paleografica di Caterina Tristano, e torna a sostenere – con nuovi argomenti – l’ipotesi a suo tempo formulata da Arrigo Castellani.
