Un mistico tedesco? Sul “Mistico” nel Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus di Wittgenstein

In this paper, I try to show that, though “das “Mystische” is an important part of the structure of the Tractatus, the work does not make sense at all when read in the light of actual mysticism, especially of the religious mysticism of the Western tradition. Certainly Wittgenstein was not a German mystic, though his “logical positivism” was mainly oriented toward philosophical therapy and very far from a scientist, dogmatic antimetaphysical stance. Wittgenstein succeeds by various means and strategies in actually not saying what he claims to be unsayable, and so reference to “das “Mystische” is not paradoxical nor mysterious, and the work is finally coherent

In questo articolo, tento di mostrare come che - sebbene il "Mistico" sia una parte importante della struttura del Tractatus, l'opera non abbia più senso se letto alla luce del vero misticismo, specialmente del misticismo religioso della tradizione occidentale. Certamente Wittgenstein non era un mistico tedesco, benché il suo (per così dire) "positivismo logico" era orientato principalmente verso la terapia filosofica e molto lontano da un atteggiamento scientista, dogmatico e meramente antimetafisico. Wittgenstein, con diverse strategie, riesce a non dire effettivamente quel che afferma essere indicibile, cosicché il riferimento al "mistico" non è né paradossale né misterioso, e l'opera è in ultima analisi logicamente coerente
