The Covid-19 emergency in Spain and the declaration of the estado de alarma. The impact on the constitutional powers and the rights’ system – The article is focused on the Covid-19 emergency in Spain and aims at analyzing the impact of the declaration of the so-called estado de alarma last 14 March 2020, both on the Spanish form of government and the fundamental rights’ system. More specifically, the paper deals with the most problematic issues concerning the relationship between the government and the parliament during the state of emergency, the political and judicial controls according to the Constitution and the Organic Law 4/1981, the restrictions of some fundamental rights such as the freedom of movement and the economic rights.
