In this study we focus on the type of subjects that Italian-speaking children produced in the context of an experiment eliciting Clitic Left Dislocations with the left dislocated phrase corresponding to the direct object. In particular we are interested in analyzing the nature of the subject in relation to the presence of the left peripheral object topic.
