The essay analyzes origin and evolution of social and economic conditions that in 1948 led to making Sardinia a special Region. He therefore proposes to update the justification of this regulatory specialty in the present context by emphasizing the uniqueness of the constitutional history of the Island.

Il saggio analizza l’origine e l’evoluzione delle condizioni sociali ed economiche che nel 1948 portarono a fare della Sardegna una Regione speciale. Propone quindi di attualizzare la giustificazione di tale specialità normativa nell’attuale contesto rimarcando l’unicità della storia costituzionale dell’Isola.
