The characterization of a microstrip-to-waveguide microwave transition is performed via the application of an efficient Finite Element Method/Hybrid Modal Expansion. The method requires the knowledge of a modal expansion at each junction port. This expansion is known in the waveguide and is numerically computed in the microstrip region via the Finite Element Method again.

Abstract
The characterization of a microstrip-to-waveguide microwave transition is performed via the application of an efficient Finite Element Method/Hybrid Modal Expansion. The method requires the knowledge of a modal expansion at each junction port. This expansion is known in the waveguide and is numerically computed in the microstrip region via the Finite Element Method again.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
