We applied flow cytometry analysis to the peripheral blood of B-cell lymphoma patients with no hematological abnormalities. In seven cases it was possible to detect circulating cells with the morphodimensional characteristics of normal small lymphocytes but with the same monoclonal light chain as the lymphoma cells. The Authors point out the utility of cytofluorographic analysis for detecting circulating monoclonal cells in blood samples otherwise morphologically normal.

Abstract
We applied flow cytometry analysis to the peripheral blood of B-cell lymphoma patients with no hematological abnormalities. In seven cases it was possible to detect circulating cells with the morphodimensional characteristics of normal small lymphocytes but with the same monoclonal light chain as the lymphoma cells. The Authors point out the utility of cytofluorographic analysis for detecting circulating monoclonal cells in blood samples otherwise morphologically normal.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
