Moon flee, flee. The Sephardic woman in the play "La informante" (1983) by Paloma Díaz-Mas The play La informante (1983), by Paloma Díaz-Mas, presents an example of the generational gap due to the difference of opinions and ways of communication between two generations regarding beliefs, values, identity and gender. Supported by Marco de Marinis’ theoretical proposal and making use of the critical bibliography in the Sephardic Studies, the aim of this essay is to study the relationship between the female characters of the play in order to reflect on the construction of the female image in the Sephardic culture.
