An innovative class of curvilinear tetrahedral elements, based on rational Bézier volumes, is presented. The accuracy and effectiveness of this approach are investigated in a finite element framework and compared with those achieved with straight and conventional curvilinear elements.

Abstract
An innovative class of curvilinear tetrahedral elements, based on rational Bézier volumes, is presented. The accuracy and effectiveness of this approach are investigated in a finite element framework and compared with those achieved with straight and conventional curvilinear elements.File in questo prodotto:
