During 1979-81 the authors took part in the mapping of five sheets of the geological map of Lybia, scale 1:250.000. The work consisted of photogeological and field mapping on a scale of 1:50.000. The stratigraphic succession was established by numerous measured sections, thousands of this sections, and the determination of many micro- and macro- faunas.
