Acute myocardial infarction during pregnancy is a rare event. We report a case of a 40 years old woman without coronary risk factors, who at 38th week gestation had an acute myocardial infarction secondary to the left coronary severe vasospam. Pregnancy ended at 38th week gestation by an elective caesarean section in general anaesthesia which give birth to a normal and alive male fetus. © Copyright 2008, CIC Edizioni Internazionali, Roma.
