In this research we evaluated the effects of several emollients on optical properties and thermal stability of sunscreens. Our aim was also to develop a procedure for measuring the stability of sunscreens irradiation, reproducing the actual conditions of use, both relative to the quantity employed (weight of product over skin surface) and to irradiation parameters.
