biogas is captured in a final, solid and stable form. The method – named Alkali with Regeneration (AwR) - is based on CO2 chemical absorption by means of an alkali aqueous solution associated to load solution regeneration using Air Pollution Control (APC) residues. This paper is focussed on describing the first step of the process – which is the absorption. The results from preliminary tests for the absorption step, using potassium hydroxide or sodium hydroxide aqueous solutions, are reported and compared with the results obtained for the same process by means of simulation software.

Abstract
biogas is captured in a final, solid and stable form. The method – named Alkali with Regeneration (AwR) - is based on CO2 chemical absorption by means of an alkali aqueous solution associated to load solution regeneration using Air Pollution Control (APC) residues. This paper is focussed on describing the first step of the process – which is the absorption. The results from preliminary tests for the absorption step, using potassium hydroxide or sodium hydroxide aqueous solutions, are reported and compared with the results obtained for the same process by means of simulation software.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
