The results of recent research carried out in Val d'Agri, in the central part of the Lucanian Appennines, have allowed to decipher a complex teconic evolution for the mesozoic Lagonegro Basin. In detail has been identified and surveyed a macroscopic, preorogenic, sin-sedimentary nomal fault, that controlled the geometry and kinematic evolution of the subsequent contractional structures. This local example of positive inversion provides additional information that helps unravel the complex tectonic evolution of this part of Central Lucania.

Abstract
The results of recent research carried out in Val d'Agri, in the central part of the Lucanian Appennines, have allowed to decipher a complex teconic evolution for the mesozoic Lagonegro Basin. In detail has been identified and surveyed a macroscopic, preorogenic, sin-sedimentary nomal fault, that controlled the geometry and kinematic evolution of the subsequent contractional structures. This local example of positive inversion provides additional information that helps unravel the complex tectonic evolution of this part of Central Lucania.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
