Archeologia e remote sensing: geografia dei servizi e delle risorse in Internet

In organizing the XI Summer School in Archaeology we widely used Internet with the aim of reaching two goals: to pinpoint leading personalities, projects and experiences regarding the use of remote sensing in archaeology, and to find key sites offering information, services and newsgroups both to the ones attending the course and to the teachers. Internet presented a so interesting and wide range of materials, that we de­ cided to give relevance to this aspect in publishing the Acts of the School. Being Internet a highly dynamic reality, our study lays no claims to treating it in a final and exhaustive way: what we intend to do is just presenting to archaeological research a solid starting point of information about the many working tools the net is offering.
