The study analyzes the two books of the eucharistical celebration, the euchologia and the lectionaries, of the 10th-11th centuries written with the paleographical style known as “the school of saint Nilus”. It demonstrates their local and provincial character, strongly tied with the particularity of the monastery of Grottaferrata. Constantinopolitan and palaestinian material is mixed with local Roman and Latin elements. The textual material results as a synthesis of the liturgy of two liturgical centers: Constantinople and Jerusalem.
