Grotta della Serratura (Marina di Camerota - SA). Primi dati sulle faune a macromammiferi della sequenza gravettiana

This paper reports the preliminary analysis of the macromammal fauna assamblages from the gravettian layers located in the atrium zone. The macromammal fauna analysis is aimed at recognizing and underlining the palaeoclimatical and palaeoenvironmental variations which took place in the surrounding territory of the cave during the gravettian occupation. The best represented faunal assemblages are associated to the woodland environment. Cervus elaphus, Capreolus capreolus and Sus scrofa are the three main components of the macromammal fauna in the Grotta della Serratura.
