The last decades have been characterized by an exponential growth of global archaeological knowledge on the human past, creating a really "critical" mass of knowledge to be managed, stored and made available both to scientific community and public. The paper analyze the solutions offered by web 1.0 and try to explore the opportunities connected with the wide diffusion of wiki's platforms in a web 2.0 perspective.
