The current Spanish literary panorama is also made up of an element that has been labeled from time to time as literature of ‘migration’, ‘migrant’, ‘of the second generation’, ‘of the new Spaniards’, etc. Alongside this, although perhaps less frequented by both the public and the academia, there is what can be badly summarized with the definition of ‘Afro-descendant literature’, i.e. those Spanish authors who have an experiential background linked to Africa. In the following pages we will try to create a dictionary of recurring themes in ‘Afro-descendant literature’ starting from the experiences of Asaari Bibang, Desirée Bela-Lobedde and Moha Gerehou.

Abstract
The current Spanish literary panorama is also made up of an element that has been labeled from time to time as literature of ‘migration’, ‘migrant’, ‘of the second generation’, ‘of the new Spaniards’, etc. Alongside this, although perhaps less frequented by both the public and the academia, there is what can be badly summarized with the definition of ‘Afro-descendant literature’, i.e. those Spanish authors who have an experiential background linked to Africa. In the following pages we will try to create a dictionary of recurring themes in ‘Afro-descendant literature’ starting from the experiences of Asaari Bibang, Desirée Bela-Lobedde and Moha Gerehou.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
