The aim of this study was to assess the evidence of significant liver disease in patients accidentally found positive for AMA testing. In most unselected consecutive adult patients with incidental findings of confirmed positive AMA, non-invasive biochemical and imaging evaluations did not show evidence of significant liver disease.
