In the first phase of the research project in vitro performance of prefabricated fiber posts using different post space preparation methods was tested. Second phase of the research focused on designing study model for testing custom made fiber posts and then conducting the tests on CAD-CAM fabricated fiber posts. Three different scanning methods were compared – direct scanning, impression scanning and cast scanning. And two different in vitro tests were done – push out bond strength and nanoleakage tests. Third phase of the research was working on systematic review manuscript comparing performance of fiber and metal posts while analyzing most recent data available in the literature.
