The subject of my research work is the system of administrative protection in Italy and Spain and, in concrete terms, the theme of administrative appeals, with a view to comparing the Italian legal system with the Spanish legal system, reporting the influence of European law as a means of coordination and integration between the different legal systems. The thesis is structured in three chapters, each of which deals with a specific topic. Chapter I is dedicated to the Italian regulation of administrative protection. Chapter II is dedicated to the Spanish discipline of administrative protection. Chapter III is dedicated to the theme of the ultrastatal dimension of administrative law and the insufficiency, in a modern perspective, of a merely "nationalistic" notion of administrative law.
