This paper presents an ongoing GIS project on the Eneolithic funerary site at the Spaccasasso Cave and Shelter, a prehistoric site located in the Maremma Regional Natural Park (Grosseto, Italy). During the Late Copper Age, the site was used as a funerary area, which features secondary deposition rituals. At Spaccasasso human bones and grave goods were displaced and arranged in a composite way within the funerary chamber. Due to the complexity of this context the project involves the implementation of an intra-site GIS and the creation of 3D restitutions. The paper shows part of the procedures implemented to visualise 3D information connected to archaeological and anthropological databases. We discuss data processing for taphonomic analysis that explores spatial relationships within the funerary chamber.
